Objectives: To test patients for IgM positivity towards MAG, and to see if this kit works exactly the same as the monkey nerve of Werfen (see the post 20180621: IHQ – Peripheral nerve monkey antiMAG patients (Werfen)
Patients:
- 193-19 –> Jose Luis Sánchez Iglesias (16/08/16)
- 18-402 (Ser. Imm) –> Jose Luis Sánchez Iglesias (24/04/18)
- 18-403 (Ser. Imm) –> Estrella Vidal Pousa (01/03/18)
- 18-573 (ICQ) –> Reposo Charneco (positive control anti-MAG)
- 09-6019 (Ser. Imm) –> Pérez Pulido (pacient with anti-sulfatides antibodies)
IHC:
- Comercial tissue sample: FA 1120-1005 (Euroimmun)
- Patient’s sera diluted 1/10 for IgM with PBS-tween –> put 30 microl of the dilution in every well of the reactives support. Then, put the slide on.
- Wash the slide 2 times with PBS-tween (with shaking)
- Put 25 microl of the secondary antibody (an anti-human conjugate against IgG, IgA and IgM) in every well of the reactives support. Then, put the slide on.
- Wash the slide 2 times with PBS-tween (with shaking)
Results: there are no differences between the different samples. The peripheral monkey nerve of Werfen works better than this kit.
