20180621: IHQ – Peripheral nerve monkey antiMAG patients (Werfen)

Objectives: To test patients for IgM positivity towards MAG, and to see if the monkey nerve of Euroimmun works well (see the post 20180621: IHQ – Peripheral nerve monkey antiMAG patients (Euroimmun)

Patients:

1.  193-19 –> Jose Luis Sánchez Iglesias (16/08/16)
2. 18-402 (Ser. Imm) –> Jose Luis Sánchez Iglesias (24/04/18)
3. 18-403 (Ser. Imm) –> Estrella Vidal Pousa (01/03/18)
4. 18-573 (ICQ) –> Reposo Charneco (positive control anti-MAG)
5. 09-6019 (Ser. Imm) –> Pérez Pulido (pacient with anti-sulfatides antibodies)

IHC: 

• Comercial tissue sample: Peripheral nerve slide (504210 Werfen)
• Blocking solution: 5% goat serum in PBS (1 h)
• Patient’s sera diluted 1/10 for IgM with 5% goat serum in PBS.
• Wash 2 times with PBS
• Secondary antibody: GAH 594 IgM (1/1000)
• Wash 2 times with PBS
• Fluoromount mounting medium

Results: 

1. Patrón anti-MAG (se ven muchas vainas de mielina positivas)

2. Patrón anti-MAG (se ven muchas vainas de mielina positivas): hay bastante fondo

3. Hay más axones positivos

4. Patrón anti-MAG (se ven muchas vainas de mielina positivas)

5. Patrón anti-sulfátidos (se ven todas las vainas de mielina positivas).
